For most of my 30+ year career, I focused on logistics.
Timelines. Vendor coordination. Making sure everything ran smoothly. I was good at it—I could coordinate a 300-person wedding in my sleep.
But about 4-5 years ago, something shifted.
A friend asked me to design (not just plan) her nonprofit event. And I discovered I loved the creative side as much—maybe more—than the planning side.
